IDoR joint sponsors the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the European Society of Radiology will host international activities to mark the event, together with more than 100 medical societies in 57 countries.

In honor of this celebration, the World Federation of Pediatric Imaging (WFPI) is sponsoring two contests - one for best video and one for best photograph promoting the specialty of Pediatric Radiology:
Video contest
What? Short (1 to 3 minute) video’s that promote the specialty of pediatric radiology. These can be personal, departmental, local, national or global endeavors.
Who? Anyone can submit a video - submissions by pediatric radiology fellows and radiology residents are especially encouraged.
How? Videos should be uploaded on Youtube, and the link sent to pedradvideos@gmail.com by October 31.
Submitted videos will be broadcasted on the WFPI website on November 2 through November 8.
TO WIN: the video with most "thumbs-up" on Youtube by November 6, 12 noon GMT, will be awarded a prize of $100, and will be featured in the International Day of Radiology celebrations.
Photo contest
What? Submit images that promote the specialty of pediatric radiology. " Pediatric Radiology: it is all about children! " These can be personal, departmental, local, national or global endeavors.
Who? Anyone can submit a photo - submissions by pediatric radiology fellows and radiology residents are especially encouraged.
How? "Photos uploaded on instagram using the hashtag #IDoRphotocontest are automatically entered". For Twitter, submissions should be directed @Wfpieducation with #IDORphotocontest
TO WIN: the combination of the number of Instagram 'likes' (heart) and Twitter ‘favorites’ and ‘retweets’, will be used to judge the winner. Posting to both Twitter and Instagram is encouraged to ensure maximum exposure of your work. The photos with most hearts/favorites/retweets by November 6, 12 noon GMT, will be awarded a prize of $100, and will be featured in the International Day of Radiology celebrations"
