Target Audience

The target audience for this program includes pediatric radiologists, fellows, residents and technologists who interpret imaging of skeletally immature patients.

Learning Objectives: 

  1. To review advanced imaging in pediatric MSK abnormalities. 
  2. Discuss imaging of pediatric sports injuries including sonographic and MRI modalities as well as other advanced aspects of pediatric MSK radiology. 
  3. To utilize focused discussions on imaging topics less well understood such as imaging of foot alignment issues and scoliosis.

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to understand the current role of imaging in pediatric MSK abnormalities and injuries. Participants will also better understand the clinical perspective of MSK imaging.

The American College of Radiology is approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM) to sponsor and/or review Continuing Medical Educational programs for Radiologic Technologists and Radiation Therapists. The American College of Radiology designates this educational activity as meeting the criteria for up to 22.5 Category A credit hours of the ARRT.
