Syllabus

CME Information

Target Audience

 

The target audience for this program includes radiologists involved in the imaging and care of pediatric and adolescent musculoskeletal injuries including sports medicine.  This course is geared to pediatric, musculoskeletal, general radiologists, radiology trainees, and radiology and ultrasound technologists.  The Course objectives::

 

1.Recognize common disorders and apply advanced techniques in pediatric and adolescent musculoskeletal CT and MRI
2.Identify new findings and new ways of thinking in pediatric MSK disease and imaging
3.Explain interventional techniques including therapeutic joint injections and MR arthrography
4.Discuss clinical aspects of sports injuries of the shoulder, hip and as other joints

 

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to understand basic and advanced techniques in MSK, and recognize and apply the techniques for advanced diagnosis and improved management.
