Target Audience

The target audience for this program includes pediatric radiologists, fellows, residents and technologists who perform and report pediatric oncologic imaging. 

Learning Objectives: 

  1. To review recommended imaging approaches for diagnosis, staging and followup of pediatric malignancies.
  2. To discuss emerging and cutting edge imaging technologies in pediatric oncology including functional/metabolic modalities, radiomics and radiogenomics. 
  3. Provide a clinicians perspective on the role of imaging in the management of pediatric malignancies, including cancer predisposition syndromes.

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to understand the current role of imaging in pediatric oncology. Participants will also better understand the clinical perspective of oncologic imaging.

The American College of Radiology designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

ARRT ACCREDITATION STATEMENT
The American College of Radiology is approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM) to sponsor and/or review Continuing Medical Educational programs for Radiologic Technologists and Radiation Therapists. 

The American College of Radiology designates this educational activity as meeting the criteria for up to 18 Category A credit hours of the ARRT.
