Happy New Year to all! We have much to cover, so let’s begin:
  • Website: Important corrections to the website launch message:
    • Your username is the email address at which you received this message.
    • Your password is (lowercase) spr2014.
      • Please do not attempt to change profile/username/password as the system is not accepting changes. We are working on this glitch and hope to have an update to report shortly.
    • Until you log in, you will not see the Member-only options under the "Members" tab, including access to the online journal, online CME, and the member directory.
    • We launched the new website on December 30 – a few short hours before the prior site was scheduled to "go dark." To avoid boring you with too much detail, let it suffice that the SPR website (and the Image Gently and World Federation websites) were forced to move. The new platform presents both challenges and opportunities for our staff and us: We are now under contract with an independent company and the software is open source. Therefore, if we move our sites again, it will be because we choose to do so.
    • The sites are user-maintained and new technology, so our staff’s expertise will grow over the coming months.
