Member - Volunteer instructions
This program relies on a collaboration between an SPR list serv and MyPACS.net. Terms and conditions for member participation in the list serv must be agreed to prior to participation.
This is the way the program will work and what you will need to do to participate.
- If you are not yet a volunteer, write to Dr. Sarah Chilton and or Jennifer Boylan to be added to the list serv.
When an approved poster uploads images to mypacs.net from a case on which he wishes SPR member input, members of the volunteer listserv - Small_world@list.pedrad.org. - will receive an email inviting them to view the images (accessible from the link in the email), and, if they wish, to respond/comment using the listserv.
The next time you access a case from that computer, you'll be automatically logged in. If you ever are prompted again, log in with the account name and password that you created.
If you have any questions, please call Rex Jacobovitz at 206-933-1240. When you click the link to view a case in MyPACS, you may be prompted to log in (see screenshot).
If that happens, if you already have an account on MyPACS, simply log in with your username and password using the "Log In" box on the left, and the case will be displayed. If you don't yet have a MyPACS account, fill in the form on the right ("Sign Up for a Free Account"), and you will be immediately granted access
Once you have joined, you and all the other volunteers will receive messages inviting you to comment. We ask that your discussion be added within 48 hours of receipt of the email notification. Remember, listserv communication goes to every member of the listserv, so comments such as "outside my area" are not necessary., if you have no comment to make, simply do not respond. Thank you for your willingness to participate in this new SPR program. We hope all involved find the program to be valuable in connecting members with members - or – in the best possible way, making the world a smaller place. Please refer questions regarding these instructions to Jennifer Boylan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
