IPR Meeting Late-Breaking News
Interventional Workshop - Saturday, May 20, 2006 - 7:00 – 8:30 a.m.
All IPR meeting attendees are encouraged to submit interesting cases or cases involving complications to the Interventional Workshop planners. The session will be held on Saturday morning.
Interesting cases may include any patient presentation that poses a difficult diagnostic problem or a particular management or procedural challenge relating to the use of interventional approaches and techniques. Interesting cases do not have to have achieved resolution in order to be presented - cases still under review or for which no known solution has yet been found are often stimulating subjects for discussion.
Please submit cases via email to SPR@acr.org if possible, limiting each e-mail file to no more than 2 MB due to firewall restrictions. Files must be received no later than May 5 to be reviewed for presentation. If you have a file larger than 2 MB, please send a description to the same address for alternative submission instructions. For each case, please include pertinent, non-patient-specific information (age, sex, weight, brief history & presentation, diagnostic or clinical question/request) with images on PowerPoint slides. Images should each be 5 inches wide with a resolution of 100 dpi in a JPEG or TIFF format and have a brief legend. In order to provide broad access, presenters will be limited to one case each. Cases received before the meeting will have priority for presentation. Cases brought directly to the meeting should be given to the meeting registration staff in advance of the workshop on either a CD-ROM or jump-drive. Cases brought to the meeting will be presented only if time allows.
Specific questions may be addressed to the workshop faculty: Kevin Baskin, MD – Interesting Cases - at BASKIN@email.chop.edu and Mary Beth Moore, MD – Complications - at firstname.lastname@example.org .
