Community Outreach at SPR 2014

Based on the overwhelming support received for last year’s community outreach initiative, we would like to continue in the spirit of giving by supporting Dr. Bear®’s Closet this year. Dr. Bear®’s Closet, a well-regarded program at Children’s National Medical Center, donates toys, games, books and other items to children of all ages. The Closet ensures that all of the Hospital’s playrooms are stocked with toys, and that every patient has a gift for holidays and birthdays, and more importantly as a token of reward for their courage during their time of illness.

Join the SPR in putting a smile on a child’s face by donating supplies and gifts deemed safe and appropriate for use by patients and families. You may bring your donations directly to the SPR Annual Meeting. For more information on Dr. Bear®’s Closet and to access to the donation guidelines, please visit the Dr. Bear®’s Closet website.
